چکیده

Modeling is considered an inherent part of design, operation and optimization of Water Quality Systems. Models are used for running so-called Virtual Experiments, such as Simulation and Uncertainty Analysis. Since the complexity of VE’s is constantly increasing, there is a need for techniques that allow for timely execution of complex VE’s on real-world models. This paper touches several of these: use of efficient solvers, model coupling based on the Open Modeling Interface (OpenMI), and distributed execution. Focus however is predominantly on the software system that was developed to allow for the latter. This system has thus far been applied to the WEST modeling and simulation software package. It is a stable, efficient and platform-independent tool for transparent distributed execution of workload on work nodes within an organization. It can be regarded as conceptually similar to the Grid Computing paradigm, albeit its specific nature currently makes it more geared towards Water Quality Management systems.

Analysis on Components Complexity During Execution of Construction Projects

Development is the fundamental area in enabling India`s economy and urban and provincial structure. Development is a multi-connected structure where all variables are bury connected and multi-centered. All the three limitations time, expense and quality ought to be adjusted in an improved way, so that no segment gets influenced by dismissing those. The goal of this study is to distinguish the m...

Implementation of the direction of arrival estimation algorithms by means of GPU-parallel processing in the Kuda environment (Research Article)

Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of audio signals is critical in different areas, including electronic war, sonar, etc. The beamforming methods like Minimum Variance Distortionless Response (MVDR), Delay-and-Sum (DAS), and subspace-based Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) are the most known DOA estimation techniques. The mentioned methods have high computational complexity. Hence using...

Hybrid Meta-heuristic Algorithm for Task Assignment Problem

Task assignment problem (TAP) involves assigning a number of tasks to a number of processors in distributed computing systems and its objective is to minimize the sum of the total execution and communication costs, subject to all of the resource constraints. TAP is a combinatorial optimization problem and NP-complete. This paper proposes a hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm for solving TAP in a ...

Distributed and Cooperative Compressive Sensing Recovery Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks with Bi-directional Incremental Topology

Recently, the problem of compressive sensing (CS) has attracted lots of attention in the area of signal processing. So, much of the research in this field is being carried out in this issue. One of the applications where CS could be used is wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The structure of WSNs consists of many low power wireless sensors. This requires that any improved algorithm for this appli...

Land use impacts on surface water quality by statistical approaches

Surface waters are the most important economic resource for humans which provide water for agricultural, industrial and anthropogenic activities. Surface water quality plays vital role in protecting aquatic ecosystems. Unplanned urbanization, intense agricultural activities and deforestation are positively associated with carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous related water quality parameters. Multip...
